Going to the gym

I just signed up for Fitness First last Tuesday with my colleague. This is really something quite impromptu although I planned to sign up for gym membership. At first, we we just thinking of surveying the gym to see what facilities they have since it is very near our work place. But we met another colleague there who is already a member and we find out that we might be able to tap onto the membership promotion which he had. So we talked to the promoter there and the manager as well and they agreed to match the same promotion. I guess that they just wanted out business. Nonetheless, I am now a member of Fitness First and now I have excuse to push myself to really workout and lose that fats of mine.

Time to really get in shape for me. I went to the gym for the first time to meet a trainer there and went through some routine. Felt like dying cos I have not done this kind of vigorous exercise for many donkey years. Guess it is not too late to start now huh? Since I want to get my 6-packs, gain back my fitness level and to lose weights, I guess signed up for gym membership is a good thing because I will push myself to exercise since I have paid for the membership fee.

Targets:
1. Lose weights – 6 months time from now
2. Gain back fitness level – by Nov 09
3. Tone up my body – End of 2009

Can I do it? I don’t see why not. I will not let what I have paid for the gym fees go to waste. Gonna hit the gym 3 times a week. =)
